White Paper on International Business School Accreditation
Our goal with this report was to help business schools that have obtained international accreditation (specifically, AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS and/or EPAS) benchmark their own experiences and processes against those of their peers. Survey respondents ranged from deans to accreditation officers, and came from 30 countries. We also hoped to give schools seeking international accreditation advance insight into the challenges they can expect once they begin the process — especially the often underestimated effort required to prepare what can be hundreds of pages of documentation, a particular challenge for institutions located in non-English-speaking countries.
The report covers topics as wide-ranging as the reasons behind seeking accreditation, the types of training provided to staff, the use of editors or other external providers, and how the work was divided across the institution.
